About the position

The Senior Product Manager - License Monitoring at Splunk is responsible for defining and leading the strategy to enhance the Splunk Platform, enabling customers to effectively monitor and understand their subscriptions. This role involves establishing a long-term strategy, collecting customer insights, building a prioritized roadmap, and collaborating with various teams to deliver customer value.

Responsibilities

• Establish a 3-year strategy for monitoring Splunk subscriptions and their value generation.
• Collect information from customers, analysts, and competitors to inform prioritization decisions.
• Build relationships with customers and collaborators to gather user needs and validate solutions.
• Create a prioritized roadmap for engineering investments aligned with short, mid, and long-term goals.
• Define SMART metrics to ensure features deliver customer value.
• Write product requirement documents to translate customer needs into actionable materials for various teams.
• Collaborate regularly with customers, engineering, UX, PMs, service operations, marketing, and field teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management or technical product management role.
• Data-driven approach to prioritize requirements and ensure operational excellence.
• Ability to socialize ideas and attain cross-functional agreement with a customer and team-first approach.
• Experience in product management for B2B SaaS applications or enterprise products.
• Understanding of large enterprise operations in Security, Observability, or IT.

• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
