About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Networking at Google Cloud Platform is responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, focusing on network connectivity solutions that empower organizations. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with various teams to influence strategy, conduct market research, and ensure product delivery aligns with customer needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align product plans with business goals and market opportunities.
• Drive the product development process, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and execution.
• Work with Engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop an understanding of customer needs, pain points, and use cases in the Data Transfer portfolio.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to gather insights.
• Leverage customer feedback and data to make informed product decisions and prioritize roadmap initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements.
• Ensure seamless coordination and product delivery with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience with Networking, Network Architecture, Networking Protocols, Software Architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 10 years of experience with product management in the Cloud Networking or a related domain.
• Experience developing/launching products/technologies within Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
• Experience on network capacity planning, consolidation, and delivery across cloud products.
