About the position

The Senior Product Manager for PayFac at Worldpay is responsible for driving growth in the company's PayFac program, collaborating with various teams to align product goals with business objectives, and managing the product lifecycle from planning to execution. This role involves understanding market trends, engaging with partners, and developing go-to-market strategies for new product releases.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the company and line of business strategy, market, industry, and client goals and apply this understanding to assigned product suite and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product goals with overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new features and services that align with market demands and customer needs.
  • Work closely with product and development teams to prioritize features and improvements based on customer and market needs.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from planning to execution, including product roadmaps, development, and release schedules.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities within the Integrated Payments space.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with software partners to understand their needs and help tailor existing and new products to incorporate their feedback and requirements.
  • Support software partners in effectively presenting and promoting Value-Added Services.
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategies and commercialization plans for new product releases.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in API/SaaS products with a strong understanding of customer needs and technology trends in Integrated Payments and/or Payment Facilitation.
  • Background in payments or software companies with a focus on payments or financial products.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with other product and development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager, with at least 4+ years of experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
