About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Cloud Platforms will be instrumental in enhancing the Developer Enablement team's capabilities within the Strategic Product Division at First American. This role focuses on innovating and delivering automated solutions to internal business partners, enabling software developers to efficiently build, test, and deliver secure software to customers. The position requires collaboration with technical teams to understand business processes and challenges, and to develop platform products that meet these needs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize cloud engineering and product skills to deploy cloud accounts, networks, infrastructure, and applications securely.
  • Develop expertise in the Developer Platform product offerings to support and guide business partners.
  • Contribute to the ideation, development, and improvement of product offerings to enhance business partner experience.
  • Prepare and launch product announcements and important communications.
  • Present product updates to executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Develop key metrics dashboards for visibility to internal or business partners.
  • Research and adopt new tools to improve performance, automation, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Lead quarterly OKR management and collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, and change management professionals.
  • Identify and optimize cloud costs to achieve business value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management roles.
  • 2-5+ years of experience with cloud environment design and automation, preferably in AWS.
  • Strong team player with a passion for creating user-friendly products.
  • High level of business acumen and strategic agility.
  • Fluency in core Product Management skills such as decision frameworks, prioritization, and market analysis.
  • Strong experience with modern DevOps principles and practices.
  • Understanding of the enterprise software development lifecycle (SDLC) and associated tooling.
  • Experience with Agile and UX principles.
  • Familiarity with software automation techniques and tooling (e.g., Argo, Terraform, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with source/version control tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Experience with enterprise observability and monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
