About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Platform at Twitch is a pivotal leadership role within the Platforms and Services Organization. This position is responsible for steering the strategic direction and execution of key technology portfolios, including Identity, Security, Data Platform, and Enterprise Product Technology. The role focuses on enhancing customer trust through the development of user experiences that prioritize data security and support internal teams. The Senior Product Manager will lead a team of Product Managers, guiding their professional growth while ensuring that product initiatives align with organizational goals and data security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Registration and Authentication experience on Twitch, ensuring a seamless and secure account creation process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product roadmaps and feature requirements.
• Lead a team of Product Managers responsible for the Enterprise Product Technology and Data Platform portfolios.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align product initiatives with broader organizational goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or formal mentorship role.
• Experience in user authentication, data security, and privacy best practices.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision and define requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building and leading a high-performing team of product managers.
• Experience in building and managing data-enabled products.
• Experience with platforms or integrating operational and data systems, especially with streaming data.
• Experience working with Senior and C-level executives to develop product strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
