About the position

As the Sr. Product Manager for PowerTrack APM Commissioning and Configuration, you will be responsible for enhancing the software product capabilities related to customer onboarding processes and in-application configuration options. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop product documentation, training materials, and support processes, ensuring efficient onboarding for APM customers. You will drive continuous improvement in product features and work closely with internal teams to streamline user experience and improve product support.

Responsibilities

  • Own and extend software product capabilities related to customer onboarding processes and in-application configuration options.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to contribute to the product roadmap for onboarding and commissioning workflows.
  • Own and prioritize the technical product backlog and collaborate with the software development team for timely feature delivery.
  • Participate in agile processes and ceremonies within the software development team.
  • Work with internal teams to advise and productize best practices for onboarding to improve user experience.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality product documentation to enhance the customer experience.
  • Research technical trends in the energy industry and conduct competitive market assessments.
  • Provide internal training and present to customers as a subject matter expert on PowerTrack APM.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and report regularly to the Manager of Product Management.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of high-quality product documentation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience as a Product Manager or leading software development teams in B2B SaaS.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, implement, and manage complex workflows.
  • Electric power industry domain experience with understanding of renewable energy and commissioning assets.
  • Experience with cross-functional product development teams including developers and customer support.
  • Experience in full life cycle agile engineering practices.
  • Experience defining business models and go-to-market strategies.
  • Power user of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy to uncover customer needs and channel insights into product development.
  • Intellectually curious about new technologies and able to engage in technical discussions.
  • Decisiveness in making informed, critical decisions quickly.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to operate successfully in a high-growth environment.

  • Experience in workflow-driven, data-intensive applications.
  • Experience participating in commercial discussions with customers' leadership teams.
