About the position

Walmart is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its Search organization to drive the growth of its E-Commerce platform, which has seen over 20% growth in the last three years. This role is crucial as Search contributes significantly to Walmart's online revenue, serving as the primary channel for customer interaction. The Senior Product Manager will act as an owner and influencer, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance search performance and execute the product vision and roadmap in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop short and long-term product strategies and roadmaps for eCommerce Search
  • Drive strategic initiatives that require working across multiple teams
  • Evaluate business cases and translate business and customer requirements into product roadmaps, engineering specifications, and underlying system dependencies
  • Build a culture of end-to-end ownership, efficient operating reviews, data driven decision-making, strong partnerships, and willingness to take controlled risks
  • Manage key business stakeholders by conducting product reviews, strategy sessions with leadership, performance assessments, and priority setting
  • Run competitive intelligence analytics and internal data assessments to uncover new opportunities
  • Track and analyze key operational search metrics and financial performance indicators
  • Implement search initiatives with engineering and data science partners and conduct rigorous AB testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management
  • 7 years' experience in product management or related area

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in product management or analytics in eCommerce, Online advertising, or marketplaces
  • MBA or top tier Management consulting experience with a technical orientation
  • Strong user experience, analytics, and technical acumen
  • Experience shipping and iterating based on data
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards
