About the position

The Senior Product Manager, Security at Qualtrics is responsible for enhancing security frameworks across organizations utilizing Experience Management. This role focuses on user access and data protection, ensuring that products meet functional needs while adhering to security best practices. The position aims to strengthen customer trust by securing sensitive information and complying with evolving regulatory standards, ultimately enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The role involves collaboration with engineers, designers, and security experts to address security needs and compliance standards, translating these requirements into comprehensive product specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to bring security-focused features to market, ensuring they meet both functionality and compliance requirements.
  • Build empathy for core personas/users and translate security needs into effective product specifications.
  • Engage with customers, sales, and various stakeholders to drive security enhancements and ensure secure product usage.
  • Utilize a mix of quantitative and qualitative data to guide decisions regarding security and compliance.
  • Support go-to-market teams in communicating our security value proposition to diverse audiences and collaborate on secure feature positioning.
  • Produce clear, detailed product specifications that align with company strategies and customer needs.
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs while identifying areas for product improvement.
  • Use data to back your viewpoints.
  • Release features that enhance security and compliance across our solutions.
  • Communicate product value and partner effectively with go-to-market stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a product-related role, preferably within technology, software development, or security-focused products.
  • An owner's mentality, adaptability, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-making capabilities.
