About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our US TikTok Shopping Center User Growth Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the roadmap planning of the growth framework of TikTok Shopping Center, as well as the design and execution of growth strategies. You will leverage abundant data, your prior experience with the global TikTok Shop user growth team, and your understanding of the US market to drive user growth for TikTok Shop's Shopping Center Business, which is focused on e-commerce in the US. As a Senior Product Manager, you will design and execute growth strategies and features tailored to the unique characteristics of the US market. This includes launching experiments based on localized promotions and incentives, and gradually optimizing their ROI performance. You will also be responsible for incentive design, which includes creating coupons and direct product subsidies aimed at improving key metrics such as the number of new customers, conversion rates, repurchase rates, and average order value. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work cross-functionally with various teams including Operations, Feature PM, Data Science, and Algorithm teams to drive the growth of TikTok Shop. You will design the overall user conversion funnel and user lifecycle flow in collaboration with business and PM teams to amplify the impact of user incentives. Additionally, you will facilitate collaboration between mid-platform teams by contributing insights to the user growth team and deploying the latest tools and best practices from HQ to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Work for the user growth of TikTok Shop's Shopping Center Business (E-commerce business) in the US.
  • Design and execute growth strategies/features based on US peculiarities; launch experiments based on localized promotion and incentives, then gradually optimize its ROI performance.
  • Incentive design, including coupons and direct product subsidies, to improve key metrics, including the number of new customers, CVR, targeting user cohorts' conversion rate, repurchase rate, average order value, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operation, Feature PM, Data Science, Algo team, etc, closely to drive the growth of TikTok Shop.
  • Design the overall user conversion funnel and user lifecycle flow with business and PM teams to amplify the impact of user incentives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between mid-platform teams by contributing insights to the user growth team and deploying the latest tools/best practices from HQ to the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in E-commerce or operations in a technology company.
  • 3+ years of E-commerce experience; familiar with E-commerce user growth strategies; Good at ROI and LTV model, budget allocation, and incentives design, including shipping, coupon, strikethrough price, etc.
  • Expert in user experience design based on shopping mall/marketplace scenarios to optimize user conversion funnel.
  • Experience with team management and independently responsible for core business metrics.
  • Strategic and logical thinker with effective planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead a data-driven project. Capable of in-depth data interpretation and highly data-sensitive.
  • Passionate about understanding user demands with different cultural backgrounds and excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally in a globally collaborative environment.
