About the position

The Sr. Product Manager will join the Commercial Marketing team at GAF, focusing on managing the Siplast Single Ply business portfolio. This role involves product and brand management, developing B2B marketing strategies, and executing hands-on management in the manufacturing industry. The position offers a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including new product development, marketing management, and business optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and Sales to identify and execute new product introductions.
  • Position multiple technologies across the product offering.
  • Collaborate with external contractors, internal sales team, technical team, and training teams to qualify new products.
  • Identify new application methods for products with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Evaluate opportunities to grow sales within the current product offering by working closely with Sales and customers.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training materials including videos, brochures, presentations, and web pages.
  • Ensure steady supply of product while minimizing risk by working with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain.
  • Maintain cross-functional team alignment on strategic projects across various departments.
  • Ensure all documentation including packaging, websites, product/safety data, and other product information is up to date.
  • Develop a strategic marketing agenda and apply creativity to realize it through various promotional materials and advertising.
  • Identify and realize business improvements on enhancement of mix and profitability.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in product management in a B2B & B2C marketing setting.
  • Self-starter and fast learner with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present and interface directly with sales teams and customers.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in commercial roofing, specifically TPO, PVC and/or PVC-KEE.
  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite.
