About the position

The Product Manager for TikTok's Privacy Product team will focus on developing innovative solutions that enhance TikTok's fundraising capabilities and socially responsible features. This role is pivotal in driving product strategies that align with TikTok's mission of social impact while ensuring compliance with global regulations. The position requires a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to collaborate across various teams to create user-centric solutions that empower users to support causes they care about.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for fundraising and public safety features, driving solutions that empower users to make a positive impact.
  • Utilize data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps focused on social responsibility and aligned with broader organizational goals.
  • Develop and execute a product vision centered on user-driven donations and fundraising, collaborating closely with legal, engineers, designers, and data analysts.
  • Ensure all in scope product features are compliant with global regulations and privacy standards.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to bring together expertise and resources for each phase of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience in social responsibility, donations, fundraising, or related fields at a consumer or enterprise company.
  • 3+ years of experience with user experience design, with a focus on empowering users to engage in social impact initiatives.
  • Understanding of global regulatory compliance in the context of donations and safety features (e.g., Amber Alerts).
  • Exceptional documentation, presentation, and communication skills, especially in cross-functional and global roles.
  • Proven ability to use quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive product decisions and measure the success of socially responsible initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Computer Science, or Business).
  • Experience building products from 0 to 1, particularly those centered on social good and user empowerment.
  • Technical experience in front-end, backend, and/or AI technologies.
  • Experience working on product features for donations, fundraising, and safety alerts.
  • 5+ years of experience with user experience design, particularly in the context of social impact features.
