About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Technical for Amazon Direct Fulfillment is responsible for enhancing and managing the technology that supports the Direct Fulfillment business, which allows Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from vendor warehouses. This role focuses on maximizing the buyable selection offered on Amazon, ensuring a seamless experience for customers while optimizing costs. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including Business Development, Engineering, and Data Science, to drive product initiatives and deliver updates on product launches and results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance existing and new Direct Fulfillment systems.
• Define business requirements and collaborate with science, tech, and operations teams.
• Drive roadmap strategy and product definition.
• Deliver product updates summarizing launches and results.
• Advocate for critical customers and stakeholders during prioritization and planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
