About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Tech role within Amazon's Global Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization focuses on enhancing the Direct Fulfillment (dropship) business. This position is pivotal in maximizing the buyable selection offered on Amazon, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient product management and collaboration across various teams. The role involves defining business requirements, managing existing and new systems, and delivering product updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the roadmap strategy and definition for Direct Fulfillment systems.
• Manage the delivery of features and make tradeoff decisions for product enhancements.
• Contribute to engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategies related to products.
• Represent and advocate for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Data Science, and other Amazon teams to ensure alignment and success of product initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and making tradeoffs for product development.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in delivering product updates.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
