About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Technical for Auto Scaling at AWS is responsible for defining and delivering innovative cloud solutions that enable customers to build highly elastic and scalable applications. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create a product roadmap, engage with customers to understand their needs, and ensure the successful launch of features that enhance application scalability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the product meets their needs.
• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Auto Scaling that aligns with the overall business goals.
• Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer needs, market trends, and business impact.
• Work closely with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust the product strategy accordingly.
• Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the product and inform future decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product management with Internet business experience
• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager
• 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields
• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
• MBA or Masters in Computer Science or engineering field.
