About the position

The Senior Product Manager for the Technical Buying Platform at T-Mobile will lead the product strategy and execution for the Demand Side Platform (DSP). This role focuses on enhancing ad tech offerings through advanced audience targeting, machine learning systems, and data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions for advertisers and agencies, making it ideal for a seasoned product manager with extensive experience in ad tech and machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the DSP platform.
  • Guide the evolution of addressability and enhance user matching and ID management.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to manage and scale machine learning systems.
  • Analyze campaign performance using SQL and data analysis tools to generate actionable insights.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and sales teams to deliver innovative DSP features.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and agencies, incorporating their needs into the product strategy.
  • Build compelling narratives using data to explain product performance and optimization strategies.
  • Stay informed on trends in ad tech, identity resolution, and privacy regulations to inform the product roadmap.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to optimization.
  • Advocate for the needs of advertisers and agencies, refining the product to meet their demands.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in ad tech or data-driven domains.
  • Experience with ad tech identity solutions such as MAIDs, cookies, and IDFVs.
  • Proven experience managing products that incorporate machine learning systems for optimization.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Ability to think strategically and back decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical, sales, and operations teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, or other programmatic ad tech platforms.
  • Familiarity with real-time bidding (RTB), audience segmentation, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
