About the position

The Senior Product Manager Technical for Global Network Transport Services at Amazon Kuiper is responsible for driving the technical vision and roadmap for network transport services that enhance connectivity for various customer segments. This role involves defining core services and APIs, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with business unit needs to create high-value network services. The position offers a unique opportunity to build foundational services that will transform connectivity across government, consumer, and enterprise verticals.

Responsibilities

• Define the core network transport services and APIs for Kuiper customers.
• Work closely with engineering to design and deliver scalable, reliable, and performant network capabilities.
• Ensure alignment between network services and the needs of Kuiper's vertical business units.
• Identify opportunities to create unique, high-value network services that drive adoption and usage.
• Partner with other Amazon teams like AWS to deliver seamless networking experiences.
• Define the operational model and key performance metrics for global network transport services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
