About the position

The Senior Product Manager, Technical for MIDAS (Metrics, Insights and Data Annotation for Search) at Amazon is responsible for enhancing the customer search experience by leveraging data insights and metrics. This role involves collaborating with various teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative machine learning solutions to deliver high-quality search features. Responsibilities

• Set a vision and deliver improvements to the Amazon customer search experience through better metrics and data insights.
• Partner with product, data science, and applied science leads across Search and Shopping partner teams to align on improvement opportunities.
• Drive innovation through novel Machine Learning solutions and collaborate with Science and Engineering teams to build and launch new features in search.
• Identify and prioritize resources while effectively influencing up and across the organization.
• Dive deep into data to analyze performance and inform decision-making.
• Prepare and present executive-level reviews and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
