About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Technical Products at Amazon's EC2 Accelerated Computing team is responsible for driving the development and management of innovative cloud technologies that enhance deep learning, AI, and high-performance computing applications. This role involves engaging with customers to gather feedback, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver products, and managing product launches to ensure alignment with strategic goals. The position requires a strong technical background and a passion for creating developer-focused products that meet the evolving needs of the market.

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed and crisp business requirements for product specifications and service architecture
• Engaging with AWS customers, sales, and business development teams to understand customer feedback and pain points
• Working closely with engineering teams, design, and program management in an agile environment to deliver products to market
• Managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance, and operational support
• Driving product launches, including collaboration with public relations, executives, finance, marketing, and legal stakeholders
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
• Defining high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
• Interfacing and partnering with all levels of AWS and Amazon business leadership

Requirements

• BS degree in computer science or electrical engineering
• 10+ years of technical product management with Internet business experience
• Experience delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment
• Strong track record of delivering compelling products
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and drive focus within a talented team

Nice-to-haves

• MBA and a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent
