About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Tech (Sr. PMT) role within the Strategic Sourcing team at Amazon focuses on improving access to supply for customers by developing and executing a product roadmap. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and a passion for enhancing customer experiences. The Sr. PMT will lead data analysis, manage product requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of improving access to supply for Amazon.com, including measurement, execution, and product management.
• Lead data deep dives with BIE and science partners to identify new opportunities.
• Drive effective product discussions and define clear product requirements.
• Manage timelines for all associated software and services, supporting the launch of new releases.
• Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and product updates.
• Perform or commission market research, usability studies, and focus groups to identify and solve user problems.
• Collaborate with partners across science, business intelligence, UX design, and engineering to define requirements and build products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
• Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, and other tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
• Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making.
