About the position

The position is for a Product Manager focused on enhancing the Telematics experience in both Auto and Commercial Products at GEICO. The role requires a customer-obsessed, results-oriented individual with strong technical skills to collaborate across various stakeholders, including technology, business, product management, and design. The Product Manager will be responsible for improving and building a best-in-class Telematics experience, managing the product roadmap, and driving organizational change through effective scoping and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively across various stakeholders to improve the Telematics experience.
• Synthesize information from customer, business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities and turn insights into requirements.
• Own and prioritize the long-term product roadmap to deliver business outcomes.
• Write epics, features, and user stories to drive solution execution aligned with business outcomes.
• Leverage modern architecture and design to identify problem-solution fit.
• Evaluate trade-offs and negotiate requirements with stakeholders.
• Create compelling artifacts to influence stakeholders, such as vision documents and progress updates.
• Identify and measure KPIs to refine the product roadmap based on data.
• Coach and mentor other Product Managers.
• Conduct analysis to drive data-driven decisions and demonstrate a strong bias for action.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Agile product management.
• 5+ years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and delivery.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to conduct analysis and drive data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in Underwriting, Rating, and Insurance Product Offerings.
• Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and drive change.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
