About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team is dedicated to protecting TikTok users, including content consumers, creators, and advertisers, while ensuring the platform's health and authenticity. This team is responsible for building infrastructures, platforms, and technologies that minimize the impact of inauthentic behaviors across TikTok's various platforms, including TikTok, CapCut, Resso, and Lark. The BRIC team addresses multiple community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti-spam measures, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security, and financial safety in advertising and e-commerce. As a Product Manager within the BRIC team, you will have a unique opportunity to engage with the company's strategic security initiatives. Your role will involve developing scalable, robust, and privacy-safe systems and solutions that are also user-friendly. The challenges you will face are not typical technical puzzles; instead, you will be part of a team that creates innovative solutions to unprecedented challenges in a rapidly evolving product ecosystem. The work demands agility and the ability to make impactful changes quickly while maintaining a solid foundation. In this position, you will participate in defining the strategy and roadmap for our risk control infrastructure. You will act as the voice of the user in designing risk platforms and tools, gathering direct feedback from customers to inform future developments. Collaboration with other product teams will be essential to understand their requirements and incorporate them into your planning. You will also work closely with risk control research and development teams to enhance risk perception, identification, intervention, and governance measurement systems, as well as design common risk control products and services that support various business needs. Additionally, you will partner with engineering teams to build the next iteration of our risk control platform.

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining the strategy and roadmap for our risk control infrastructure.
• Act as the voice of the user in risk platform and tooling designs, gathering direct feedback from customers on our future platform.
• Collaborate with other product teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into our planning.
• Cooperate with risk control RD to build and improve risk perception, identification, intervention, and governance effect measurement systems.
• Design common risk control products and services that can support different businesses.
• Work with Engineering to build the next version of our risk control platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in computer/information security/statistics/mathematics or related is preferred, with technical background is preferred.
• Experience in building platform products and in serving risk control customers/stakeholders.
• Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship, with a consistent track record of leading ambitious and ambiguous 0-to-1 projects.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years experience in Product Management.
• Preferably has experience working on risk control platforms.
• Preferably has experience working on an infrastructure platform team.
