About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Creative Tools Product team is dedicated to understanding user needs, identifying opportunities, and creating innovative user experience solutions. This team is responsible for various aspects of the TikTok Effect product, including the creation path, creation triggers, and the video interface. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and goals for large cross-functional areas of the TikTok Effect product. This role will involve driving strategic product decisions based on customer feedback and market trends in America and Europe, as well as defining and analyzing metrics to assess product performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creativity and innovation, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and solicit feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and goals for large cross-functional areas of TikTok Effect product
• Drive strategic product decisions by evaluating customer feedback and market trends of America and Europe
• Define and analyze metrics, perform meticulous retrospective and prospective analysis of product performance
• Solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, and coordinate cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience at a technology company
• Familiar with image/video products
• Strong understanding of design and daily trends of Europe and America
• Passionate about creating fun and creative ideas

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working on user growth operation
• Knowledge or experience with AI/AR products
• Knowledge of the Live, Game, Creator tools, and media (images/video) products
• Familiar with AI/AR technology, experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery
