About the position

The Senior Product Manager for US Business Deposit Products at Scotiabank is responsible for leading the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for business deposit products in the US. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience, driving product penetration, and managing relationships with various stakeholders to ensure the success of the product line. The position requires a strategic mindset to identify market opportunities and implement initiatives that align with the bank's objectives, ultimately contributing to revenue growth and market share expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive a customer-first culture to attract new clients and deepen existing relationships.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and implement GTM strategies for US Business Deposit Products.
  • Manage the end-to-end GTM lifecycle for new and existing clients.
  • Generate customer insights and market benchmarking to identify GTM opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen the GTM approach and offering.
  • Identify product education and training needs for sales teams.
  • Outline, track, and execute the E2E GTM strategy and project plan.
  • Define and set up measurement milestones and KPIs for launch initiatives.
  • Manage partner, business line, sales, and vendor relationships for the portfolio.
  • Effectively communicate GTM plans and updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing commercialization initiatives or sales experience in global transaction banking products.
  • Knowledge of business deposit products, industry trends, and sales practices.
  • Experience in product management from a business standpoint.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic negotiating skills.
  • University Degree in business or economics; MBA is an asset.
