About the position

The User Growth (UG) team at TikTok is focused on driving the growth of ByteDance's international short video products. This role involves developing and implementing customized growth strategies, utilizing various marketing and data analysis techniques to achieve business growth goals. The position is responsible for user activation and retention, leveraging machine learning and collaboration with algorithm teams to enhance user engagement and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for TikTok user growth-related product strategies, activating users through Push/EDM/third-party IM and other out-of-app channels.
  • Continuously explore growth strategies to re-activate users and improve user retention, focusing on DAU growth.
  • Analyze the current business situation and understand users' needs deeply.
  • Work closely with the algorithm team to define, identify, and effectively dig high-value content through machine learning and iteration of rule-based strategies.
  • Design attractive user recall features and strategies to enhance user retention.
  • Develop personalized strategies for different user bases and lifecycles by combining business insights and user perspectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 3+ years experience as an Internet Product Manager with practical experience in growth levers such as user recall, push, email, or new user retention.
  • Strong written, verbal, and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including product, interaction, and development teams.
  • Capability to independently drive and manage projects.
