About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Virtual Accounts at HSBC is responsible for developing and managing the virtual accounts product suite, focusing on delivering innovative solutions for multinational corporations, institutional clients, and commercial banking customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the strategic roadmap for virtual accounts, ensuring alignment with broader payments and cash management objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales to engage clients and understand their specific use cases related to virtual account structures.
  • Work closely with corporate treasury teams to optimize bank account structures using virtual accounts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and enhance the virtual account offering.
  • Ensure all virtual account products comply with regulatory requirements and address risk management concerns.
  • Provide training and support on virtual account solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay current on trends and competitive offerings.
  • Track product performance metrics and provide updates to senior management.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in payments, cash management, or product management within a financial institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of virtual accounts, payments, cash management, and treasury optimization.
  • Proven ability to engage with large organizations to deliver tailored virtual account solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and treasury services.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders to optimize virtual account structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product development initiatives and manage the product lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory environment affecting virtual accounts, including AML/KYC regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
