About the position

The Senior Product Manager for the Xbox Rewards team will play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives that empower gamers and enhance their experiences. This position requires a balance of strategic planning and detailed execution to deliver complex projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will focus on developing engaging features, conducting experiments to improve gamer and business outcomes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-performance products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas.
  • Identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for feature areas.
  • Define feature sets and facilitate mid-level usability reviews with customers.
  • Own the roadmap for multiple feature areas and collaborate with partner teams to build golden configurations.
  • Collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs to improve product development.
  • Identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to identify product release criteria and strategies for customer acquisition, usage, retention, engagement, and monetization.
  • Create and drive strategy for taking owned feature areas from private preview to public preview and then to general availability.
  • Present complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership and various stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, identify communication gaps, and manage issue escalations.

Requirements

  • Experience with consumer products and a demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that achieve user engagement and monetization targets.
  • Proficiency in working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Exceptional self-organization and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience in leading virtual teams and building relationships.
  • Deep customer empathy and the ability to prioritize and make difficult decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the gaming industry or with gaming products.
  • Familiarity with product marketing and business planning processes.
