About the position

The Senior Product Manager at Climate LLC is responsible for transforming science-based models and analytics into scalable customer solutions for agricultural software products. This role involves defining metrics for commercial success, analyzing data to enhance product offerings, and collaborating with stakeholders to refine product requirements and guide business use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Transform science-based models and analytics into scalable customer solutions for agricultural software products.
  • Extract common technical data requirements to develop scientific models for efficiency and repeatability.
  • Define metrics to measure commercial success of products and analyze data from these metrics.
  • Set capability and feasibility requirements for digital products to enable new business models.
  • Conceptualize and define operational solutions to business problems.
  • Lead collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to gather product feedback.
  • Drive backlog refinement and sequencing to guide business use cases.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or a closely-related field.
  • 1 year of experience in the development, release, and launch of agricultural software products.
  • Experience gathering and translating customer specifications into technical requirements using machine learning.
  • Ability to assist in prioritizing technical requirements based on feasibility and customer needs.
  • Experience supporting the integration of business requirements into product designs.
  • Proficiency in performing data-driven quantitative analysis using Python and SQL.
  • Experience contributing to the identification and resolution of data dependencies.
  • Ability to set quantitative metrics to measure adherence of scientific models to customer expectations.
  • Experience gathering information from customer interviews, surveys, and usability tests using Miro.
  • Ability to distill quantitative insights from data analysis by creating visualizations and reports using PowerBI.
  • Experience working with cross-functional team members to develop new product concepts and strategies.
