About The Position

The Sr Product Manager role at Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital focuses on managing the data governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) relationship within the Data Products & Platforms organization. This position is responsible for analyzing business needs, developing product requirements, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple initiatives that support GRC. The role requires strong collaboration with business partners and effective communication to drive priority initiatives and improve processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Prior product management experience in a similar industry.
• Experience managing business relationships and measuring partner happiness.
• Ability to summarize business use cases and communicate data information/structure concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills, with the ability to translate business needs into requirements.
• Experience and proponent of agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive capability roadmap and define operational excellence.
• Develop a vision that improves processes and overall efficiency.
• Provide customer and leadership support in product management and engineering leadership families.
• Act as a liaison between business users and the implementation team, maintaining awareness of project status and potential concerns.
• Review available resources to maintain knowledge of optimal resource allocation.
• Reevaluate current resources to resolve project resource surplus and shortfalls.
• Establish clear ownership of program/project and ensure team members have necessary tools.
• Proactively communicate portfolio status, issues, and risks to leadership.
• Conduct regular status meetings with team & partners, keeping customer needs in view.
• Collaborate to maintain detailed knowledge of product capabilities and ensure clear communications between teams.
• Work to resolve data issues critical to GRC across data product managers, source producers, and partners.
• Translate GRC strategy into detailed data requirements for engineering teams.
