About the position

The Senior Product Manager at Verizon is responsible for the strategic formulation and lifecycle management of the Secure Access For Everything (SAFE) product/service. This role involves defining success metrics, streamlining product offerings, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with various teams to enhance Verizon's connectivity services while safeguarding customer networks and data from cyber threats. This position is integral to the Verizon Business Group Product and Marketing organization, focusing on customer experience, product strategy, and business model development.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate product strategy and manage the lifecycle of the SAFE product/service.
  • Define success metrics and validate performance against business plans.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and product marketing to define requirements for SAFE.
  • Work with technical teams to deliver on customer requirements for SAFE offerings.
  • Track bookings, revenue, attach rates, and margin performance, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitor gaps.
  • Develop product collateral, FAQs, white papers, and presentations for internal and external use.
  • Engage with marketing and sales to create positioning, messaging, and commercialization plans for SAFE.
  • Partner with pricing and finance teams to develop competitive pricing and promotions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in product management.
  • Experience in building B2B advanced networking, SaaS, or telecommunications products.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights, market trend analysis, and usability testing.
  • Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep knowledge of wireline, wireless, and security solutions.
  • Understanding of Verizon's domestic and global product offerings across NaaS.
  • Ability to conceptualize innovative applications/services with solid ROI analysis.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and motivating them.
  • Strong product intuition and user empathy.
