About the position

PickTrace is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Pay Card product offering, which is a crucial part of our vertical SaaS labor management platform designed for enterprise-scale agribusinesses. This role is pivotal in enhancing the experience of agribusiness workers who utilize our mobile application and physical pay card to receive and manage their earnings. The Pay Card product allows workers to access their pay conveniently and spend it locally, while the app facilitates quick and cost-effective money transfers back home. In this position, you will be responsible for both the product strategy and operational delivery of a fast-moving product that processes significant payroll amounts. You will leverage data to refine the product experience and pricing strategy, conducting numerous tests to enhance usability. Your leadership will be essential in scaling the product across the United States, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users effectively. As a Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer operations, to navigate initiatives through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. You will manage feature development in partnership with engineering, focusing on improving key metrics such as awareness, attach rate, adoption, and customer retention. Your role will also involve prioritizing tasks within your domain and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Understanding and empathizing with our customers will be crucial, as you will act as an internal advocate for their needs. Additionally, you will drive the implementation of our product in new customer segments and geographies, conducting onsite end-user interviews and observations to gather insights.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer operations to maneuver initiatives through the complete product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Lead the day to day feature development in partnership with engineering to strengthen our pay card product offering based on learnings from our user base.
  • Manage your product like a GM with a focus on how to improve metrics like awareness, attach rate, adoption, and customer retention.
  • Own prioritization for your domain; clearly communicate reasoning to stakeholders.
  • Learn and empathize with our customers/users; become an internal evangelist for their needs.
  • Drive the process of implementing our product in new customer segments and geographies.
  • Conduct onsite end user interviews and observations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience; preferably with 2+ years in consumer facing applications where you led product growth initiatives.
  • Bias towards action and comfortable managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience analyzing user data via a product analytics platform like Amplitude to create experiments that seek to increase product adoption and utilization.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen with articulate written and verbal communication.
  • Willing to travel at least 20-25% of the time and meet customers face-to-face.
