About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Ad Tech at Amazon Ads is responsible for driving the messaging strategy for a comprehensive suite of advertising technology solutions. This role focuses on articulating how these solutions address the business challenges faced by agencies and holds a significant impact on product marketing efforts. The position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Ad Tech landscape and experience in marketing, particularly within media agencies. The successful candidate will develop compelling narratives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and execute strategic marketing initiatives to enhance product adoption and market perception.

Responsibilities

  • Build the messaging framework outlining messaging priorities and communication goals for products or themes.
  • Liaise with sales, product, and cross-functional marketing teams to develop customer-facing materials such as pitch decks and case studies.
  • Act as a conduit between product and sales by providing market feedback and insights into features.
  • Collaborate with Educational Marketing to develop and update training materials for sales teams.
  • Introduce fresh sales and marketing strategies to the team.
  • Manage logistics and collateral for ad tech industry events and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Outline and manage product marketing deployment timelines.
  • Educate other departments on current product messaging.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, including macros, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience leading go-to-market strategies for consumer software or hardware product launches.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for data analysis.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to senior leadership.
  • Prior success in executing large-scale project plans with multiple teams.
