SS&C is searching for an experienced Product Marketer to join our global Product Marketing team. This person will focus on our B2B Alternatives segment, where we target buyers in Hedge, Private Equity, Private Credit, and Infrastructure. The ideal candidate must balance an expert-level insight into the market and competitive landscape, detailed analysis of customer priorities, and broad knowledge of SS&C's solutions and offerings. As the voice of the market, the Senior Product Marketer will drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonate with buyers and empower the success of product launches and our sales channels. Successful candidates should also have demonstrated success in bringing new SaaS products and features to market, having worked cross-functionally on multiple releases. The role involves researching and understanding market, product, and competitive dynamics, and socializing findings and recommendations with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing. The Senior Product Marketer will support content development initiatives, including guidance on our content strategy and writing of assets such as blogs, videos, web demos, web content, and social posts. Additionally, the candidate will understand and document our buyer and customer journeys for each of our target segments, analyzing the who, what, when, and why behind their decisions and value drivers, and acting to improve marketing, sales, product, services, and customer success. The position also requires developing product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas, using this messaging to drive our global and regional marketing programs. The candidate will need to understand the competitive landscape globally, becoming an expert on our competition and how they are positioned, and communicating relevant information to our sales team. Finally, the Senior Product Marketer will develop a marketing plan for SS&C's products in conjunction with product marketing leadership and our broader marketing team, including key activities to support the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers.
