About the position

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Amazon Bedrock within the AWS AI/ML Product Marketing Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative around generative AI technology. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about engaging deeply with customers, including various Amazon teams, to facilitate the adoption of generative AI solutions. Your primary focus will be on developing effective messaging and positioning for large language models (LLMs) and other foundational models supported by Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to democratizing machine learning and influencing the future of AI technology on a global scale. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling marketing content that supports product launches and campaigns aimed at helping customers maximize their use of generative AI. This includes a variety of marketing assets such as websites, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, and sales enablement tools. You will also be tasked with measuring the impact of these initiatives on service adoption, transitioning seamlessly from strategic planning to detailed execution multiple times a day. Collaboration is key in this fast-paced environment, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage shifting workloads and prioritize high-quality deliverables. Your responsibilities will include defining the positioning and messaging for customers deploying generative AI with Amazon Bedrock, creating content that elucidates use cases and value propositions, and building programs to enhance customer engagement. You will collaborate with product marketers across the organization and work directly with AWS customers to understand their deployment of generative AI, ensuring that our messaging resonates with their experiences. Additionally, you will partner with various teams, including keynote, re:Invent, and executive communications, to identify strategic customers and develop impactful references that highlight AWS's machine learning differentiators. This role offers the opportunity to work within a rapidly growing business, where your contributions will have a significant impact on the success of AWS's generative AI initiatives. You will lead a team of marketers dedicated to creating the best materials to excel in the marketplace, driving messaging and positioning for our model offerings and related services.

Responsibilities

  • Define positioning and messaging for customers deploying generative AI with Amazon Bedrock.
  • Create compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions.
  • Build programs to increase customer engagement and service adoption.
  • Collaborate with product marketers across the organization.
  • Work with AWS customers to understand their deployment of AWS generative AI.
  • Partner with teams to identify strategic customers and develop impactful references.
  • Drive messaging and positioning for model offerings and related services.
  • Craft audience-specific messages, content, and tools such as eBooks and presentations.
  • Develop and execute product marketing activities that effectively reach target audiences.
  • Measure and optimize product marketing initiatives continuously.
  • Lead a team of marketers focused on developing high-quality materials.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience specifically in software or technical domain with 2+ years focused on AI/ML domain.
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables.
