We are seeking an experienced legaltech product marketer or a former attorney to spearhead the go-to-market strategy for our products. This role is pivotal as product marketing combines storytelling, strategic planning, public speaking, and analytical thinking, making it an ideal career transition for attorneys looking to pivot into a new field. You will be joining a dynamic department filled with former attorneys who are passionate about their work and the impact they are making in the legal tech space. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining clear and impactful messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audiences. You will lead the creation and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring that there is alignment with product management, sales, and marketing teams. Additionally, you will oversee the development of integrated marketing campaigns aimed at driving product awareness, generating demand, and enhancing customer engagement across various channels. Collaboration with the sales team will be essential, as you will create sales collateral and training materials to empower them to effectively sell our products. Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights will be part of your responsibilities to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation. This position is not just about marketing; it’s about being a key player in a company that is revolutionizing the legal industry through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine clear and impactful messaging and positioning for products.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Oversee the creation of integrated marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create sales collateral and training materials.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer research to identify market trends and customer needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the legal industry or 8+ years of experience in product marketing, focusing on B2B or technology products.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable go-to-market plans.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with litigation and ediscovery.
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise software product marketing.
