About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for AWS Data Foundations will develop compelling positioning and messaging for AWS's data services, including storage, analytics, data lakes, and data warehouses. This role involves defining the marketing strategy for a rapidly growing data business, creating content to educate customers on use cases and value propositions, and collaborating with product teams to shape product vision and prioritize features. The position is critical in driving customer engagement and service adoption through effective marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and position of key AWS Data services from storage, analytics, data processing, data warehouse
  • Collaborate with AWS product and engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits of major launches into product marketing messages.
  • Engage with AWS field and digital marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs.
  • Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, demos, presentations, how to guides, etc.)
  • Work with sales to ready our general and specialized sales teams on our joint value propositions and messaging.
  • Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
  • Data storage or analytics product marketing experience
