About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at CarGurus will lead go-to-market (GTM) efforts for dealer products, collaborating closely with Sales and Product teams to influence the product roadmap and drive product success. This role requires a deep understanding of dealer customers, translating insights into actionable strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and product positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product and sales across the entire product lifecycle, shaping the product roadmap and executing GTM strategies.
  • Align team's priorities with product and revenue objectives, measuring results to ensure business impact.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, developing a deep understanding of customers and products.
  • Leverage NPS and customer insights to identify improvement opportunities and influence the product roadmap.
  • Tell compelling stories to stakeholders based on customer insights derived from data.
  • Develop strategies for product positioning and messaging across dealer products.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide tools and resources for effective communication of product value.
  • Create marketing collateral, pitch decks, and sales enablement materials that align with CarGurus brand and resonate with dealers.
  • Develop creative strategies and a portfolio of assets for B2B Marketing to drive demand generation and customer retention.
  • Demonstrate strong copywriting and creative judgment in marketing communications.
  • Implement project management strategies that align with organizational goals, managing cross-functional dependencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-8 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 4 years in a relevant role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong storytelling ability.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for B2B products.
  • Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and work closely with product and sales teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
