About the position

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Canva, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the go-to-market strategies for our innovative B2B products. This position is designed for a seasoned professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving product success through strategic marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring that these strategies align with our overall business objectives. Your expertise in market research and analysis will be crucial as you conduct thorough investigations into customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities. In this role, you will also influence the product roadmap by providing valuable market insights and customer feedback to the product management team. This ensures that our product development is closely aligned with market demands and opportunities. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure that all business goals are met and that messaging and positioning are consistent across all channels and materials. You will lead the creation of high-impact marketing collateral, such as white papers, case studies, product videos, webinars, and sales enablement tools, to effectively communicate our product offerings. Additionally, you will work with various teams to ensure that our internal stakeholders are well-equipped with the necessary content to reach the right audiences. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Influence the product roadmap by providing market insights and feedback from customers to the product management team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across business goals.
  • Own the development and maintenance of compelling messaging and positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Lead/support the creation of high-impact marketing collateral, including white papers, case studies, product videos, webinars, and sales enablement tools.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure our internal teams are enabled and that content reaches the right audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience is required.
  • Prior experience in business consulting, product management, or marketing is a plus but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B SaaS products.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into benefits for a wide audience.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understanding and identification of trends in the market, competitors, and user needs across multiple segments.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn and grow every day.
