About the position
The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for planning and executing the product marketing strategy for Cortex's Cloud Security offerings. This role involves being the expert and go-to-market driver for the product line, focusing on positioning, messaging, content creation, and sales enablement. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with the company's mission of enhancing cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the product marketing strategy for Cortex's Cloud Security capabilities.
- Drive positioning, messaging, content creation, and sales enablement for the product line.
- Translate product capabilities into compelling messages and tools for customers.
- Collaborate with Product Management to build a shared market and product vision.
- Author high-quality content in various formats including print, web, social media, and video.
- Launch products and collaborate with field teams to execute marketing campaigns.
- Represent the company in customer engagements and at events.
- Track the security operations market and competitive landscape.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product marketing experience, ideally with 5+ years in security technologies.
- Understanding of the security operations domain, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations in various environments.
- Demonstrated record of working cross-functionally to drive sales and demand generation.
- Bachelor's degree required; technical degree or equivalent background is desirable.
