About the position

Atlassian is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the team focused on Loom, a video messaging tool designed to enhance communication within the workplace. This role is pivotal in helping existing Atlassian users, particularly those using Jira and Confluence, understand the value of Loom. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams, including Product, Growth, Performance Marketing, and Customer Lifecycle Marketing, to develop new positioning strategies and create innovative signup and adoption programs. The goal is to effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Loom to the market, ensuring that it resonates with users and drives adoption. In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding the personas and use cases associated with Atlassian's product portfolio. This understanding will inform the creation of compelling content that highlights the benefits of Loom to potential users. You will also be tasked with developing world-class positioning that is influenced by market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis. Partnering with demand generation teams, you will shape strategies for awareness and cross-sell campaigns, while also working closely with customer lifecycle marketing to ensure a seamless customer journey from activation to onboarding. Additionally, you will propose, test, and implement improvements to marketing messages, promotions, pricing, packaging, and channels to enhance signup rates. Your role will also involve driving go-to-market launches for new integrations between Atlassian products, collaborating with the product team to influence the product roadmap. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to effectively influence colleagues, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the personas and use cases of our portfolio of Atlassian products and create content that communicates that value to prospects.
  • Develop world-class positioning influenced by market trends, customer feedback, and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner with demand gen teams to shape strategy for and run awareness and cross-sell campaigns.
  • Work with customer lifecycle marketing to build a seamless customer journey activation and onboarding.
  • Propose, test, and implement improvements to our marketing messages, promotions, pricing & packaging, and channels to increase signups.
  • Drive go-to-market launches for new Atlassian integrations between our products and work closely with the product team to influence the roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing (subset of time in either product management or growth role OK)
  • Experience in positioning solutions and bundles in a portfolio company, selling multiple products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills resulting in exceptional positioning, messaging, and storytelling
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Never-ending market, customer, and product curiosity
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills with colleagues, customers, and partners.
