About the position

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on Growth at Atlassian, you will play a pivotal role in the adoption and positioning of Loom, a new product within the Atlassian family designed for quick, asynchronous video updates. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with various teams across Product, Growth, Performance Marketing, and Customer Lifecycle Marketing to effectively communicate the value of Loom to existing Atlassian users, particularly those using Jira and Confluence, which are Atlassian's two largest business lines. You will be tasked with developing new positioning strategies, creating innovative signup and adoption programs, and delivering a compelling value proposition to the market. In this role, you will deeply understand the personas and use cases associated with Atlassian's product portfolio. This understanding will enable you to create content that effectively communicates the value of Loom to potential users. You will also be responsible for developing world-class positioning that is influenced by market trends, customer feedback, and competitive differentiation. Collaborating with demand generation teams, you will shape strategies for awareness and cross-sell campaigns, ensuring that the messaging resonates with the target audience. Additionally, you will work closely with customer lifecycle marketing to build a seamless customer journey, focusing on activation and onboarding processes. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you propose, test, and implement improvements to marketing messages, promotions, pricing, packaging, and channels to increase signups. You will also drive go-to-market launches for new integrations between Atlassian products, working in tandem with the product team to influence the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the personas and use cases of Atlassian products and create content that communicates that value to prospects.
  • Develop world-class positioning influenced by market trends, customer feedback, and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner with demand generation teams to shape strategy for and run awareness and cross-sell campaigns.
  • Work with customer lifecycle marketing to build a seamless customer journey activation and onboarding.
  • Propose, test, and implement improvements to marketing messages, promotions, pricing & packaging, and channels to increase signups.
  • Drive go-to-market launches for new Atlassian integrations between products and work closely with the product team to influence the roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing (subset of time in either product management or growth role OK).
  • Experience in positioning solutions and bundles in a portfolio company, selling multiple products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills resulting in exceptional positioning, messaging, and storytelling.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Never-ending market, customer, and product curiosity.
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills with colleagues, customers, and partners.
