About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Workato will play a crucial role in establishing the company as a leader in the Enterprise Automation Platform category. This position involves leading product launches, creating technical content, and developing product positioning strategies to enhance customer understanding and engagement with Workato's offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business and technical skills, with a strong focus on driving awareness and usage of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of products and programs to drive awareness, engagement, and usage of Workato.
• Develop launch narratives in collaboration with Product Marketing teammates and build executive leadership consensus.
• Create scalable technical product presentations, whitepapers, product guides, blogs, and videos to educate customers and partners.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for prospects and customers.
• Conduct in-depth technical competitive research and analysis to create competitive content for the field.
• Host product enablement training sessions for Customer Success and Sales teams on key capabilities and new features.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of technical product marketing experience in a technical or field-facing role related to cloud, app development, infrastructure, or IT operations.
• Industry expertise in areas such as Cloud, microservices, integration, automation, low code/no code apps, and APIs.
• Ability to write strong technical content for external audiences with a balance of technical accuracy and clear messaging.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and demo products to various audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Writing, Customer Success, or Product Management.
• Familiarity with tools like Camtasia, ScreenFlow, or DemoEasel.
