This evolution is grounded in customer-centric value delivery and driven by cloud-first engineering practices. We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about the travel industry to join our team. This role focuses on maximizing customer value throughout the traveler's journey, leveraging our next-generation airline retailing platform. In this position, you will be responsible for understanding market dynamics and customer needs. This includes conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and consolidating feedback from customers and regions to identify and prioritize opportunities. You will also play a key role in developing the product strategy, providing input for strategic portfolio and product vision development, and collaborating with product management and commercial teams to ensure alignment on vision and values. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating go-to-market strategies tailored to different airline segments, producing external-facing use cases, messaging, and value propositions that align with our strategy. You will work closely with commercial and account teams to ensure that the benefits of our portfolio are effectively communicated to customers and assist in upskilling activities to promote our strategy and customer value. This role also involves writing legal service descriptions for contracts, ensuring that all aspects of our offerings are clearly articulated and understood.

Responsibilities

  • Understand market dynamics including industry trends, traveler trends, competitive landscape, regulations, and their implications for portfolio strategy.
  • Perform market research through industry and competition analysis.
  • Consolidate inputs and feedback from customers, industry, and regions to identify and prioritize customer needs and opportunities.
  • Provide key input for strategic portfolio and product vision development.
  • Work closely with product management, commercial, and account teams to ensure consistency on vision and values in the new next-generation solutions portfolio.
  • Participate in commercial model development, assessing market risks and viability.
  • Build go-to-market strategies for airline segments by business model, with input from various stakeholders.
  • Create external-facing use cases, messaging, and value propositions consistent with the go-to-market strategy.
  • Follow up with Commercial and Account teams to ensure the portfolio benefits are well communicated externally based on customer profile.
  • Support customer account teams in upskilling activities to effectively evangelize the portfolio strategy and customer value in the markets.
  • Assist in writing legal service descriptions for contracts.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Product Management, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5+ years' experience in Portfolio Management, Strategy or Business Consultancy, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in Airlines, Travel, Retail, and IT industries.
  • Knowledge of IATA's NDC and ONE Order industry programs.
  • Ability to work in a team, covering a broad portfolio scope and interfacing with multiple stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales, Product Management, R&D, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Capacity to analyze and interpret data to make business recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration skills, and proven ability to drive results in a complex, multicultural environment and at different hierarchical levels.
  • Understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe or Product Life Cycle methodologies is a plus.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
