About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Nutanix Database Service (NDB) will lead the marketing strategy and execution for NDB, focusing on simplifying database management across various environments. This role involves developing messaging frameworks, driving awareness in targeted industries, and collaborating with sales and partners to enhance product visibility and adoption. The position requires a strategic thinker who can also execute effectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives and demonstrating the impact of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive marketing strategy and execution for NDB, including positioning and messaging, campaigns, and content creation.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and product teams to drive joint marketing activities with database partners.
• Develop expertise in the database management landscape and serve as a knowledge resource for internal teams.
• Own the messaging framework for NDB, including value propositions and competitive analysis.
• Create and review content such as blogs, white papers, and videos to ensure accurate messaging and alignment with product capabilities.
• Cultivate customer references and create compelling customer success content.
• Develop and enhance sales enablement tools and programs to improve sales readiness.
• Maintain a repository for NDB content and track customer stories across channels.
• Drive key marketing performance metrics and represent NDB in quarterly business reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product marketing experience in the database management or cloud services market.
• Strong domain expertise in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; MBA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or public sector marketing.
• Familiarity with database automation and cloud database solutions.
