About the position

Nutanix is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for Nutanix Database Service (NDB), a product that simplifies database management across various environments. This role involves developing marketing strategies, creating content, and collaborating with sales and partners to enhance product visibility and drive adoption in key industries such as financial services and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Drive marketing strategy and execution for NDB, including positioning, messaging, and campaigns.
• Create and publish content for various marketing channels, ensuring alignment with product capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and product teams to enable effective sales strategies and joint marketing activities.
• Lead product launches and coordinate marketing initiatives with database partners.
• Represent NDB at events, webinars, and internal enablement sessions as a spokesperson.
• Develop and maintain a messaging framework that includes value propositions and competitive analysis.
• Cultivate customer references and create compelling success stories to enhance marketing efforts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product marketing experience in the database management or cloud services market.
• Strong domain expertise in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; MBA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive communication abilities.
• Proven track record in supporting global sales teams to meet revenue goals.
