Snowflake is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to expand its team to support this momentum. We are passionate about our people, our customers, our values, and our culture. We seek individuals with a growth mindset who can pragmatically address current challenges while also building for the future. As a member of the Snowflake team, you will play a crucial role in fostering diversity and belonging within the organization. We are on the lookout for a highly talented, driven, and self-motivated technical marketer focused on open source technologies, including Streamlit, Apache Polaris (currently incubating), and Apache Iceberg. This Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will collaborate closely with Snowflake's Developer Relations, Product, and Marketing teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies aimed at growing and nurturing these open source communities. This includes owning messaging, managing regular launch motions, and engaging with external contributors. The ideal candidate will have tangible experience in marketing to developers, possibly having a background as a developer themselves. If you are a self-starter with a passion for joining a fast-paced open-source team and possess the creativity to engage and expand developer communities, this position may be the perfect fit for you. In this role, you will be responsible for various go-to-market launch efforts to enhance active usage and engagement within open source communities. This involves crafting new messaging and promotional copy, setting goals, aligning stakeholders, creatively activating new and existing channels, and measuring results. You will also develop compelling messaging and drive positioning for key open source technologies, informed by user and competitive research, as well as a solid understanding of key use cases. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with Developer Relations, Product, and Engineering teams to translate technical features, benefits, and value propositions to new developer audiences. You will communicate community requirements and provide input to product management regarding product enhancements and future direction. Additionally, you will actively participate in the open source ecosystem, building relationships with community members, attending meetups, and staying updated on the latest trends.
