About the position

The AWS Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the development of messaging, positioning, advocacy, product launches, and go-to-market strategies for innovative solutions. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess both creative and analytical skills. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with customers and drive engagement. You will collaborate closely with AWS Executives, Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, and Partner leads to ensure that our messaging aligns with customer needs and business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for defining our positioning and messaging to customers, creating engaging content that highlights use cases and value propositions, and helping to shape the product roadmap strategy. You will engage directly with AWS customers to understand their deployment of AWS Solutions and work with executive leadership to champion innovative ideas. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms will be crucial as you work across various teams within AWS, including engineering, marketing, sales, and business development, to achieve our joint business goals. As part of the AWS Product Marketing team, you will contribute to the development of differentiated and compelling messaging for AWS services. This includes connecting various AWS capabilities to ensure we are marketing the right offerings to meet customer needs. You will also play a key role in launching services and ensuring that customers can easily adopt them. Responsibilities

  • Define positioning and messaging to customers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
