About the position

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Zscaler Risk Management portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy for a suite of products designed to enhance cybersecurity for our enterprise customers. Your primary focus will be on helping customers understand their attack surface, identifying early indicators of compromise, and protecting user identities within a broader cyber protection framework. This position is based in our San Jose, CA office, where you will be expected to work onsite 2-3 times per week. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Risk Management Marketing and will be responsible for creating unique messaging and positioning that resonates with our target customers. You will develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy aimed at increasing product awareness, driving adoption, and fostering growth within the market. Your responsibilities will also include producing high-quality content that aligns with the Zscaler brand, such as marketing collateral, pitch deck presentations, website content, videos, blogs, click-through demos, and customer success stories. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with sales teams to ensure that the value proposition of our products is clearly communicated. You will also be involved in developing training programs and promotional strategies that align with our product offerings, ensuring that our sales teams are well-equipped to engage with customers effectively. This position requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, particularly in product marketing, and a passion for innovation and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Create unique messaging and positioning that aligns with the target customer and communicates the core capabilities of the products.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy to increase awareness, adoption, and foster growth.
  • Develop content inline with the brand's image, including collateral, pitch deck presentations, website content, videos, blogs, click-through demos, and customer success stories.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure clear value proposition, assets, and training programs that promote a sales strategy aligned with the products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering.
  • Experience with posture management and/or detection and response platforms.
  • Experience with the fast-paced, constantly changing landscape of cybersecurity.
