About the position

The Selling Partner Growth team at Amazon is a dynamic and innovative business-tech unit dedicated to enhancing the growth of businesses within our global stores. This team is focused on creating new opportunities that not only attract valuable selection but also foster long-lasting relationships with Amazon, ultimately improving the Buying Customer experience. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Selling Partner growth by identifying and driving improvements that facilitate this growth. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product teams, scientific experts, and regional business units to influence the strategic priorities of senior leadership. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering a comprehensive global strategy, acting as a thought leader within the SPX organization, and ensuring that all regions are aligned in their efforts. You will define success metrics and develop a strategic roadmap that outlines solutions aimed at unlocking growth while ensuring sustainable profitability. This will require you to create frameworks that connect various growth inputs—such as selection, Selling Partner recruitment, and customer experiences—to tangible outcomes. By leveraging both data and anecdotal insights, you will identify key opportunities, invent innovative solutions to complex challenges, and influence product decisions that directly impact business outcomes. Your work will significantly affect our Topline growth, Selling Partner Cost to Serve, and will guide both short and long-term capital investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive improvements that enable Selling Partner growth.
  • Partner with product, science, and regional business teams to influence senior leadership priorities.
  • Deliver a holistic global approach as a thought leader in the SPX organization.
  • Establish success metrics and drive the strategic roadmap of solutions for growth.
  • Create frameworks to connect growth inputs to outcomes.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify top opportunities for growth.
  • Invent new solutions to challenging problems and influence product decisions.
  • Drive closure by connecting product decisions to business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, including macros, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • 5+ years of experience blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for data analysis.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
