About the position

TikTok's SMB is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and execution of TikTok Promote. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, sales, customer service, and marketing to drive product awareness, market penetration, and identify opportunities for sustainable long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, advertising, or related fields, and will be adept at developing and executing comprehensive product marketing plans that support strategic product objectives, drive engagement and adoption, and deliver on revenue and user penetration on TikTok. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will collaborate and communicate with various teams, including product managers, data scientists, product operations, marketing, sales, and vertical PMMs to launch new marketing capabilities and product strategies that meet new advertiser requirements and drive scalable growth. Utilizing market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback will be crucial in helping to drive product innovation and differentiation. Building strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and stakeholders will enable you to understand their needs and provide valuable feedback to the product team. You will also be responsible for developing effective messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the product's value proposition. Additionally, you will lead the development and execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, sales-enablement tools, and other go-to-market programs that drive demand and revenue. This role is pivotal in ensuring that TikTok Promote achieves its strategic goals and continues to grow in a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans that support strategic product objectives, drive engagement and adoption, and deliver on revenue and user penetration on TikTok.
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, product operations, marketing, sales, vertical PMMs to launch new marketing capabilities and product strategies to meet new advertiser requirements and drive scalable growth.
  • Utilize market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback to help drive product innovation and differentiation.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide feedback to the product team.
  • Develop effective messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the product's value proposition.
  • Develop and execute product launches, marketing campaigns, sales-enablement tools, and other go-to-market programs that drive demand and revenue.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, advertising or related fields.
  • Successful marketing strategy skills and experience in driving product adoption and user penetration.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with product, sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
  • Possess data analytical skills and demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities and develop segmented operational strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of advertising products, services, and strategies is an asset.
