About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Datadog plays a crucial role in both the Product and Marketing organizations, focusing on go-to-market strategies for new products and features. This position involves creating content that supports the sales team and educates users, ultimately driving the growth of Datadog. The role emphasizes collaboration, experimentation, and creativity within a hybrid workplace culture that values work-life harmony.

Responsibilities

  • Support the continued growth of Datadog Software Delivery portfolio (CI Pipeline Visibility, Test Visibility, DORA Metrics, and more).
  • Define a new market category by creating messaging and positioning for software delivery products and features.
  • Establish and maintain value propositions with supporting materials including website collateral, blogs, demos, datasheets, ebooks, and solutions content.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, create, and launch impactful campaigns across multiple channels, including webinars, ads, organic, thought leadership, and more.
  • Produce various customer marketing assets and collateral such as case studies, video testimonials, conference sessions, and more.
  • Conduct thorough competitive and market analysis per product segments, resulting in product roadmap guidance and sales consumable battlecards.
  • Create, maintain and deliver sales foundation courses and create sales enablement content and tools.
  • Liaise with various departments to drive product-led growth through product trials, user-focused onboarding, and revenue plays.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Marketer, Product Manager, Sales Engineer, or other relevant experience, ideally in a developer tooling company.
  • A BS in a STEM field or significant knowledge of DevOps practices and understanding of the platform engineer or developer persona.
  • Passionate about technology with an understanding of modern system architecture, cloud computing, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or open source technologies.
  • Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong storytelling, content creation, and presentation skills.
